Why Wilg

The WILG Group was born in Achel as Watertechniek Teunissen, on 1 August 1988 to be precise. After some time, the temptation to add import and distribution to the technical pump and irrigation system manufacturing activities emerged. And so it happened: WILG gradually conquered the national market followed by the European market, only to end up leaving its mark on the pump industry worldwide.

“WILG also stands for a huge tree, known in Western Europe for its natural beauty, love for water and growth. All this is equivalent to the ambitions of our Water Is Life Group.”
Bestuur – WILG

Stronger together

Today, the Group consists of no less than eight innovative companies that have joined forces. Their roots are in the same industry, their goals perfectly aligned. Individually, they are strong and established players, but it is together that they achieve the best results. The consequence? Twice the customer satisfaction, success and innovation in everything we do.

Our mission

What shared objective do we aim for each and every day? To provide the most sustainable, economic and ecological solutions for pumps, irrigation, piping systems and the geothermal industry. With this mission and the slogan ‘Water is life, take care of it’ in the back of our minds, WILG promises to be groundbreaking in the pump industry both locally and across borders.
