Reinier Teunissen's company, MPI Pumps from Arendonk, has acquired its industry peer Aubia Pumps to propel the Group into the top-three dealers in the Benelux.

Aubia is a family business with two branches in Wallonia that manufactures and distributes all kinds of pumps (circulation pumps, submersible pumps, etc.). Their product range includes irrigation systems and other water engineering applications.

“This acquisition is big news in the world of pumps and irrigation”, says CEO Reinier Teunissen. “It's a strategic move that puts us in the top three of our industry.” The acquisition price remains undisclosed.

This is not the first time that MPI has made the news recently. The company recently bought a building on the same street on the Hoge Mauw business park in Arendonk. The move is intended to facilitate their rapid growth, with the relocation scheduled for this summer. It took just four years after moving in to outgrow the capacity of their current building.
