AQUAPHOS For corrosion protection and to prevent and eliminate brown water, to stabilise hardness, and to prevent limescale deposits. PROPERTIES • Properties colourless • Chem. Designation Combination of mono- and polyphosphates • P2O5 - content approx. 2.9 % • pH value approx. 4.6 • Solubility (20 °C) unlimited in water • Density (20 °C) approx. 1.04 MODE OF ACTION Due to its high content of monophosphates, Aquaphos is primarily used for corrosion protection by forming a phosphate topcoat. In combination with the long-chain polyphosphates also contained, the occurrence of brown water is prevented or quickly eliminated. The hardness or residual hardness is stabilised and limescale deposits are prevented. APPLICATION For corrosion protection after water softening systems and for stabilising soft and medium-hard water with carbonate hardness up to approx. 7 °dH (acid flow rate pH 4.3 to 2.5 mol / m3). DOSAGE The recommended dosing quantity is 100 ml / m3 water corresponding to approx. 3 mg P2O5 / l in the treated water. Dosing takes place directly from the container. The dosing systems should be corrosion-resistant. STORAGE When stored cool in closed containers at least 2 years 87
