FUNCTIONAL PRINCIPLE The nitrate remover ensures consistently high water quality by removing nitrate from the water. No chemicals, additives or additional technical equipment are required, just commercially available regeneration salt. The entire system is automatically cleaned during each regeneration. In the ion exchange process, water flows through the ion exchange resin, which has a high nitrate selectivity. Nitrate ions are exchanged for chloride ions. When the capacity of the system is exhausted, the ion exchange resin is regenerated with brine, and the nitrate ions are discharged into the wastewater.
